DOUGLAS (WNE) — A woman charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine and child endangerment has been sentenced.
Twenty-eight-year-old Melissa Carlson’s home on Washington Street was searched by police who allegedly found two glass pipes with suspected methamphetamine residue, marijuana packaged in jeweler’s bags and digital scales.
A 3-month-old girl was in the home.
Carlson entered a plea of guilty to one charge of child endangerment.
In exchange, all other charges have been dropped.
Carlson was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison which is suspended pending her completion of three years of supervised probation which includes 100 hours of community service and a $760 fine.
